1.1 Cancellation Policy
I understand that Movement One (MVMT ONE) has a ‘no refund’ policy. All membership services once purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Before booking or making a payment, please ensure that you have selected the correct membership or program as no refunds will be given under any circumstances. Movement One (MVMT ONE) will not be responsible if you are unable to complete your membership or program and no cancellation or refund will be provided.
1.2 Cancellation of Session &‘No Show’ Policy
I understand that Movement One (MVMT ONE) has a cancellation and “no show” policy.
Should you need to cancel a coaching or training session with your coach or trainer, you must notify them prior to 24 hours of the session. If notification is not received, Movement One (MVMT ONE) will enforce a ‘no show’ policy and you will be charged full-rate for that session.
1.3 Refund Policy
I understand that Movement One (MVMT ONE) has a “no refund” policy. Movement One (MVMT ONE) has a strict ‘no refund or return’ policy. Any purchases made will not be refunded. In the event that the booking error has occurred through the absolute fault of Movement One (MVMT ONE), a refund will in most cases be issued to the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
1.4 Payment Policy
I understand that all services, memberships, and programs, are to be paid for in full before the commencement of the first day of the membership or program. The payment methods for live, in-person sessions include: cash, online payment, and bank transfer. The payment methods for all online sessions, programs and courses include:
1.5 Group Training Policy
At Movement One (MVMT ONE) we actively encourage you to train with a friend/family member(s). However, this is an additional service and therefore requires an additional payment. Please speak with your coach if you would like someone to join you. Please note that once group training commences, if any member(s) of the group is not present during any session provided, it will still count as a full session delivered. It is the responsibility of each person to ensure that they are present at each group session. No refunds will be provided if one or more persons is unable to attend any session.
1.6 Aggressive or Inappropriate Client Behaviour Policy
At Movement One (MVMT ONE) we practice the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. If any client makes any of our coaches, trainers or staff feel uncomfortable through, or exhibits any form of, inappropriate or aggressive behaviour, our staff have been trained to immediately discontinue the session or communication, and contact management (and the authorities if necessary). In such an event, the appropriate actions will be taken and all outstanding sessions shall become null and void and no refunds will be provided.
1.7 Waiver and Physical Health Policy
I understand that Movement One (MVMT ONE) has a strict policy regarding disclosing medical information for my own safety and protection.
a) I warrant and agree that I am medically fit to undertake an exercise program, and that I do so voluntarily at my own risk at all times. If I am unsure if I am able to participate, I warrant that I have sought independent medical advice and obtained the necessary clearances to participate in this service and its associated programs, etc. I understand that my health remains my responsibility at all times.
b) I hereby waive all and any right or cause of action which with respect to injury, physical impairment, out ofthe loss of life, or injury and damage, or loss of any description whatsoever which I or my child and/or children and family member may suffer.
c) By attending sessions, classes and/or programs, I declare myself to be physically sound and suffering from no immediate condition, impairment, disease or infirmity or other illness that would prevent me from participation or use of activity or equipment. My health and medical conditions are my responsibility.*
*If you suffer from any medical condition(s) at all, you must seek first medical advice before
undertaking any form of physical activity. This is a prerequisite before commencing your service or program. If at any point you feel that you should not participate in any session for any reasons whatsoever you acknowledge that it is solely your responsibility to immediately cease training and seek professional medical help.
*If you believe any activities might risk your health, you must inform Movement One (MVMT ONE) immediately in writing with full details. You must also tell us if your medical condition changes after you join.
*Our staff and contractors are not medically trained. They are not qualified to assess if you are in good physical condition or state if you can exercise without risking your health, safety or comfort. It is your sole responsibility to seek expert medical and other advice before starting any exercise program with Movement One (MVMT ONE). This remains your own responsibility at all times.
1.8 Photography and Social Media Policy
I agree and understand that by participating in any of the Movement One (MVMT ONE) programs or becoming a member and signing this agreement that I agree and forever grant Movement One (MVMT ONE), and it’s associated marketing agencies and 3rd Parties, the rights to any and all images obtained of me and I hereby waive all rights over any such images. I also agree that such images may be used by Movement One (MVMT ONE) at any
time for marketing purposes, and this includes the usage of such images on Social Media platforms, emails, and any other form of electronic and print distribution. By entering in this Membership Agreement, you allow us to use your image in promotional and other business-related material unless you inform us otherwise in writing.
*This applies to public or group activities only. During private sessions, permission will be requested for any use of photos or social media and will not be taken without obtaining consent.
1.9 Public Holiday Policy
I understand that Movement One (MVMT ONE) reserves the right to close for Public Holidays, special events, and any other day deemed appropriate without any recourse or compensation and change class timings and offerings at any time without recourse.
*If your private session is affected, you will be notified about rescheduling the session.
